I only recently heard about these things through my college professor, who has asked us to write a paper on it. I was thinking about checking one out to see what it's like "inside" and not only from the outside, though sadly all I can find is other articles.

I would start by going to a general chat community, like ivillage, and start lurking in the chatrooms or forums. See who's talking about what, as far as suicide goes, because after awhile, you can tell who the nutballs are. Post some and get to know the people and them send them an im, pm, or email and see if they know of any rooms you can visit. Chats like this are usually an invite only thing, so you'll have to do some manipulating. On that note, your story about having to write a paper on this sounds like bullsh*t. Hope you find what you're looking for.

I believe you'll have a problem finding one since it appears they are illegal, at least in some jurisdictions. Note the article below and search on the subject matter yourself.

Gerald Krien, 26, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of solicitation to commit murder. Krien had created a Yahoo! chat room, designed to lure others to commit mass suicide on Valentines Day.
The chat room Krien created has been shut down by Yahoo!, however chatters continue to seek information in several other Yahoo! chat channels, with the general theme of suicides. In several chat rooms, users have been inquiring about "the pact", referring to the suicide pact by Krien. In no case has anyone contacted these chatters, to determine if they are involved in "the pact" or are curious after seeing news reports.

a suicide Pact, is very important.i don't know of any ,but can tell you from experence once you tried to do it and didn't suceied, and ened up in the phy. ward you learn to have people that you can call and depend on any time of day or nite. crise line is always a good place to call. but to many do not call for help. this is one of the most scary things going on now with young people.
parents don't even catch the clue with there children. you could put out a web site your self, and ask others to tell you there story.
