Why do people think Orlando Bloom is gay, when he obviusly (sp?) isn't. I'm, like, totally in love with him and I really think he's an awesome guy. But lately there's been rumers that he's gay and I feel bad for him cause he's a really sweet person. So why?

oh you know guys...
if a girl oogles over someone, they feel maybe threatened or demasculined. So thier best artillery is to say that movie star is gay.
Also its a way of guys saying - don't be gawking around.
If I went to my wife bragging how hot Raquel Welch is, sooner or later I am going to get slapped upside the head.

RUMORS dear, not rumers. But seriously, I think it is just because he is on that video with the 2 other guys that came out a few days ago about THEM coming out. And that picture that surfaced where he is kissing that Australian guy with the pontail. What more do you want?

Well not everyone thinks he is gay (look at some of the answers you got for your question). He is probably not although you can never tell take Lance Bass for example no one even knew it was coming! So you can't tell but considering he already has a girlfriend let's call him straight.

I think some people make assumptions about that because some men are just so darn good-looking and not necessarily the macho, super-rugged type. I guess the term "pretty boy" might apply, in some people's views.
And of course people love to speculate about things like that; people with not enough on their minds to keep them busy start wondering about such "important" things!!
