I am going to keep it simple here.

“Our job in physics is to see things simply, to understand a great many complicated phenomena, in terms of a few simple principles.” – Dr. Steven Weinberg, UT, Austin

Lets agree the fossil record is the natural contiuum, adaption is the science or genetics and breeding, and mutations cannot evolve upward, then the question can be what causes the "macro" natural continuum of new species (bacteria to trees) and new functions (seeing, thinking, arms, etc.).

It seems that if natural biological creation was proven, that it would be demonstrated and that would be the end of the story. Right now it seems to be a politically correct hypothesis for scientists and others to accept.

I think that biologists should step back and set-up a valid hypothesis and see if natural creation is a realistic theory.

This is an important issue. If it is an unrealistic theory, this does not mean the genesis account is true, for genesis is unrealistic also.

the problem with creationsim is that it seeks to prove that something is made by something else, and the problem with science is that it will only state what it sees. Both are flawed, both are on the right track, but the scientists dont want to be made to believe in god, and the creationists dont want to give up on believing in god even though the scientists have been right about a lot of stuff. its a cake and eat it to kinda thing.

Evolution is just the fact that things evolve. Even if the way that Homo Habilis was turned into Homo Sapiens was by some super-natural creature reshaping its DNA with a pincet, it would still be called evolution.

Darwinism is the specific theory that evolution happens largely through natural selection. Darwinism requires that there's something to select from (differences between the genes within a species) and since Darwin could not account for that, classical Darwinism was an incomplete theory.

Neo-Darwinism (usually just called Darwinism) is Darwinism combined with modern genetics, which explains how mutations arise, making natural selection possible.

(Neo)-Darwinism can account for a lot of the evolution we observe, whether in present-day evolution such as that of the HIV virus or in ancient evolution. We can't explain all details so in principle we can't be sure if (neo)-Darwinism is a perfect theory. But so far it has not been necessary to assume any other mechanisms that could cause evolution, nor have any such theories been developed.

Does this clear up some of the confusion?

There are many methods by which evolution occurs (Artificial Selection, Adaptation, Speciation, etc.). Evolution is simply a change in gene frequency over time. It has absolutely been demonstrated to occur. Many things in science are still called hypotheses (or theory) even though they are accepted as fact. For example, the theory of gravity.
