WOMEN always had a stronger survival rate from birth to maturity and live longer .
MEN on the other hand can father children with dozens of women . SO fewer men does not make the population decrease at all .

I think the mother cannot change her mind once she has willingly entered into a civil union. Whether she a lesbian or not, she should honor the child that was brought into this world because of this union. You can't have both ways.

It is a sin (also in the torah and bible) that mankind cannot change no matter what age he lives in.
Not even a rabbi, or priest (especially catholic) can change Gods'(Allahs') decision on the matter.
