i just posted a question about my periods and people have started to scare me.....
ok ive been on the pill for two years and always have a regular bleed in between packs... i stopped my pack early in order to regulate my periods so i wouldnt be on when i went on holiday.
now a week later (And back on the pill) ive started to bleed old blood and i have been emotional and had lower back pains like i get when i am on...
Is everything ok?

Everything is ok. Your body is just trying to adjust to change in hormones from the pills.

Make sure you have protected sex for a few weeks while your body is catching back up to the pills.

Next time you want to skip a period, it is not ideal to just stop taking the pill. You'll have break through bleeding, cramps, longer/heavier period. Etc. Ask your doctor for advice on skipping a period while on the pill. Most doctors will recommend that you immediately start a new pack of pills the day the sugar pills starts.

Normally when one takes pills their periods are lighter and last for less no. of days. Once you stop these pills and try having a normal period, they might be heavy and last for more days with PMS like symptoms. The cycle changes and normalises usually in a month or so.
If you did start your next pill pack within 5-7 days of your pill break then you wouldn't have to worry much, its probably spotting that does happen even when u have started taking pills for the next cycle.
Otherwise you might consider getting yourself examined by a gynaec.BTW if your periods are heavy consider taking iron supplements, with vitamin B12 and folate.
All the best.

I would go see your doctor. Most likely you are just having to get used to the new cycle you have induced, but, too make sure, you should really ask a healthcare professional. Good luck.
