I once saw this filem, quite old I'd saw made in the 60s. It was set in birmingham and had brumburger in! It was shown on C4 when I saw it - but this was about 8 years ago at least! That's all I can remember, but I'm eager to find out the name.

..........is'nt this 'Brummburger' just a Ronald McDonald burger from Birmingham City Centre??? Would that make a similar burger from Cardiff be called a 'Taffburger'....or a Liverpool one, a 'Scouseburger'??????

Take Me High (1973)

This is the sort of film to watch in a crowd with a cruel sense of humour. Can you imagine a travelogue of Birmingham? With musical numbers? You don't have to, because TMH does it for you. The song that stays with me to this day is 'Brumburger!'. Really, if Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder hadn't got 'Springtime For Hitler', 'Take Me High' would have done the trick. Beyond kitsch, beyond parody, beyond belief.
