To disable the right click on the mouse you can go to the control pannel and try to change the mouse settings. Usually it is not available.
You will not be able to toggle any hardware function from the registry editor. How ever I will give you the steps.
Editing the registry is a very sensitive issue. Your whole computer is dependent on its registry settings. Please make sure you make a backup of the registry. Please DO NOT delete any files.
Make sure the system restore function is turned on.
To check it;
A) Click start, and right click My Computer.
B) Go to properties and go to the system restore tab.
C) Make sure system restore is turned on.
To back up the registry you will need to;
A) Click Start.
B) Click RUN.
C) In the open Run window, type REGEDIT.
D) You will be inside the registry editor screen.
E) Click on Registry and then Export.
F) Name the registry file and then save it on the desktop.
G) In case the desired result is not reached, double click the backup file and the registry will be reverted to the earlier settings.
In case you need further assistance do mail me back, my ID is vijay_30482@yahoo.com.
Also be a little more specific on what part of the registry you are trying to edit.

Well, we can disable the context menu, but it will happen for everything except Internet Explorer. My Computer and My Network Places are both really Windows Explorer; I know of no way to allow the context menu for certain folders while disabling it for others.
This can be done for either individual users, or on a per-machine basis.
To Enable/Disable for Current User
Registry Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Data Type: DWORD
Value Name: NoViewContextMenu
Value Data: [0 = Disabled / 1 = Enabled]
Exit Registry and Reboot
To Enable/Disable for Local Machine
Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer
Data Type: DWORD
Value Name: NoViewContextMenu
Value Data: [0 = Disabled / 1 = Enabled]
Exit Registry and Reboot
If you just want to disable certain items on the context menu, you can use ShellMenuView (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shell_menu_view.html) or ShellExView (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html). Alternatively, you can do it manually via registry; here is a fairly comprehensive guide: http://www.jfitz.com/tips/rclick_custom.html
Note: Beware of editing or changes

Do you have all the CD's / Floppies alongside with all the subscription / registration ideas? in the journey that your registry is corrupt, there are some extremely stable courses accessible to attempt to repair it. in case you do not comprehend what you're doing, i does not advise using regedit or regedit32. i might in simple terms format and re-load. on the different hand, this could be a stable thank you to check! in case you have all the CDs had to repair, I say decide for IT. this is how I discovered! in spite of the shown fact that it grew to become right into a not user-friendly lesson! Any documents, photographs, video clips, and something might desire to be lost! Make a back-up first, in case you may. And checklist each and every thing which you alter! maximum registry transformations won't take result till you re-boot.

I would avoid editing your registry. It can create serious problem. You may be able to disable your mouse click under preferences and that would be safer.
