i've been to a whole lot of tatto parlors and they are NEVER any help like everyone says they are. they just answer your questions with a yes or no and sort of just walk off.this happens in the crappy tatoo parlors and in the more reputable ones of my town(houston) i really hate them.

Sorry for your experience. I have 4 tattoo's and haven't found that to be true at all, but I don't live in Texas. Of course where I live there are ALOT of tattoo parlors and I guess the competition between them makes them bend over backwards for your business.

Good question. It's like they can't be bothered. I guess customer service isn't a high priority with these people. If they're gonna cop an attitude then why not find another line of work, if that's possible considering all the tats in odd and often highly visible places.

You are so right, I live in san antonio and they are the same way here. They're complete d*cks who have a I'm better then you attitude. First tattoo I got, they pissed me off so much because they were just joking around and not being serious professionals...and having something put on you permanently and all....one would like it if the artists show you respect and patience.

because they are arteeessts! (said with a phony french accent)

On a serious note, someday someone will open a shop nearby that will put them all out of a business....first rule of having a business is to treat everyone who walks through the door like gold....cuz everyone is a potential client or the friend, sister, mother, brother or father of a potential client.

Get down to CC town. We have cool tatooists, here. Or go to a motorcycle rally and find Freek. He's a hoot.

Moody artists? Sounds about right.

My brother is a tattoo artist and he is a moody b***ard too. I need to ask him why that is.

Well you have to consider they have to really concentrate on what they're doing, if they f*ck up it's permanent... give 'em a break.
