I knew "him" when "he" was just a regular gay guy. Its pretty freaking pathetic. He's like 45 years old and 6'2". The whole idea of the thing creeps me out. He has the money saved for the surgery and expects to have it in February.

If this person is now identifying as a woman that she's a she. No question about it. It is extremely rude and disrespectful to continue to refer to her as "he" when she has made it clear she is a woman. Looks are irrelevant. What percentage of people are magazine-model "perfect" examples of their gender? To insist on calling a transsexual by their old name or pronouns is inexcusable. It would be equivalent to "forgetting" that a friend is now a college graduate, divorced, married, widowed - its a BIG deal. We make a point of remembering other important facts about our friends and loved ones.

If the person is a male to female MtF and lives as a female especially post surgery you call that person she. And the reverse is true for FtM.

you likely in basic terms caught the girl off shelter and out of instinct from answering to others in authority, she in basic terms reported "sir" to you inadvertently. we've all had moments while it takes us in basic terms a 2d or 2 till now we can shake some thing off and get returned to our senses. i does not difficulty approximately it. It sounds like it grew to become right into an honest mistake. Her buddy caught it and delivered it to her interest, so as that there tells me that this lady does not often do some thing like that intentionally. Then, she could have been too embarrassed to astounding herself to you...

I would assume your friend would want to be called "she" now... or, is this really a friend? If he is, it's pretty sad that you call him pathetic because he's different...because he's trying to become who he..or she...really is. He's trying to become a happy, whole person.
and you're obviously a hateful little homophobe considering the email you sent to me after I posted my comment. you obviously have some issues you need to deal with!

If you're a friend, and you don't know: ask. I would guess he prefers female pronouns, but, not knowing the person, I wouldn't know.

I don't really understand why age or height should have anything to do with gender, incidentally.

If he disgusts you and freaks you out, I hope you don't call him often. He'll need a lot of support, and your attitude is anything but supportive.

Proper respect would be to use he or she as that persons identfies and wishes to be called.

First of all, you are pathetic for calling someone else pathetic just because they are different from you and you dont understand it.

Secondly, you ask him what he wants to be called but honestly I would suggest you leave him alone because you are not his true friend because you judge him/her.

I agree that you are very disrespectful.

Just go away and do this person a favor by NOT being in their life.

It'll be a win/win situation.
You won't be creeped out, and he/she won't be around a creep.

Well you call them what they wanted to be called? Just ask. I'm sure they won't have a problem with it, because they have already gone through so much confusion themselves.
