A human being is an animal that has evolved somewhat. For the most part we don't eat each other like fish do. We don't go around sniffing each other's rear ends like dogs. We wear clothes in public, most of the time. We have some small measure of technology. We still have violence, lust and greed wired into our brains. The odds are against us evolving for another 100,000 years. Then we might attain our true potential. But mostly, we are a species that has not even begun to reach its potential and at the rate we're going we probably never will.
