Sure, she did it for two reasons. One, to satisfy her curiousity and attraction to him, though she loves Will. Two, to trick him so she could chain him to the boat, so they could make their escape.

It would have been an okay part of the plot if the character changes MADE ANY SENSE. Elizabeth didn't like Jack at the end of the first movie, so why was she gushing over him in the new one before they had even interacted? God, the writers just got lazy and took plot from a bunch of 12 year old girl's fan fictions. It was horrible...
