He was a son of a carpenter. He was a jew. He paid taxes to the romans who kept tight records. He was a man. Anybody can stretch out whatever they want out of the other details of his life(and alot have) but he taught the ideas of peace and love .He may have caused his own end - or been pushed by peer presure - or both who knows for sure? He died at the hands of the romans for the crime of claiming to be king- the king of jews -the jewish church claimed he said this ( I doubt he said that ) and demanded he be put to death. The rest of what I have heard is hearsay-

Amymarie,
That is the first time I have ever heard anyone ask that question. I know Jesus very well, and I will be happy to describe Him to you. He is wonderful beyond your greatest imagination. He is the most loving person who ever walked on this planet. His wisdom and intelligence cannot be measured by any standard we know. He loves you more than you could ever understand in your wildest dreams. He has a magnificent sense of humor, and loves to laugh. He is deeply fond of all the works of nature, and is kind to all the creatures of this, and all other worlds. He has an unquenchable passion for the human race, and loves us without measure. These are only the most superficial characteristics of my Master, and Brother. To really know Him, you must understand what it is that drives Him at all times. The thing that occupies His mind above all other thoughts. It is His love of our Father. He loves and values the will of our Father more than even His own life. He knows full well, that we only exist, because our Father wants to share this universe with His family. Each one of us who has ever lived, has been given the opportunity to become a Child of the Father. He will not force us to love Him. Love is a choice, and is based on true appreciation. Jesus, came here to illustrate this fact in His own life, and to steer us away from the folly of getting lost in religions and philosophies. I hope that this brief description of the One I love, has been of help to you. You should really get to know Him. Your life will never be the same, I can assure you.

He was sent from heaven to earth. Born to the Virgin Mary. He spread the word of his father. The people betrayed him after 30 years. He was sinless. They nailed him to a cross and then put him in a cave when he was dead. They got alot of men to pull a huge boulder over the entrance of the cave. They had people guard the cave for 2 days and 2 nights. On the third day the reopened the cave and he was gone. He rose from earth to heaven.

Jesus and God are 2 separate people. Jesus is our Savior. He died so that we can be here. What he did is amazing.

"Jesus" is the man that was ridiculed and tortured for his way of thinking, of which from birth, he had no control of and was absolutely free from sin. He did not have "all" the answers, however if anyone wants to get a good opinion of what the World is all about, the "BIBLE" is the way.
He died for all our sins, which means we all fall short of perfection!
