I always change directions, have difficulty focusing on specific tasks and feel depressed with anxiety.I feel that I always look out of the box and neglect my job at work. Is there something wrong with me? if so, what can I do correct this problem that is haunting me daily?

Note : I have been through about 15 different organizations during my career and always look for quick get rich schemes.

I suspect you may have a clinical diagnosis like ADHD. You can take a medication for this as an adult that can help. Seek counseling, it will change your life. Many of my family members suffer from this. They are all brilliant and creative, and getting some help helped them find the right job fit and succeed.

Typically, adults with ADHD are unaware that they have this disorder—they often just feel that it's impossible to get organized, to stick to a job, to keep an appointment. The everyday tasks of getting up, getting dressed and ready for the day's work, getting to work on time, and being productive on the job can be major challenges for the ADHD adult.

KENK24 has given you some very good advice. As I read it, it reminded me when I was a Human Resource Manager. I had a supervisor come to me to complain about an employee who did not seem to be able to focus and get the job done. Had lots of ideas, but seemed to wander and not 'follow' the processing involved. These are creative people who cannot be boxed in. The side of me which dealt with music, art, drama was able to see that and I worked hard to help place this person in another position. The problem here is that you really do need to stop a minute and take some inventory. I hope you like to write. I find journal writing helps us 'see' in our own writing our thoughts, ideas, problems and also help to come up with solutions. The number of organizations you have been through does not sound good. In the psych world - it would be said you need to talk to someone - to find out why you move around so much. The fact that you can't focus -indicates to me that there are some other deeply hidden issues that need to be resolved before you start up with another company. Think about it - they loose and you loose when you keep moving around. The "get rich quick" schemes are attractive to you for a reason - you need to get to the bottom of it. I would venture to say that you are a person who does not sleep well at night - your brain is constantly in motion. Look around your personal life - you might not have security and a firm foundation in that either. I'm just pointing out some characteristics that I have seen. The person I spoke about earlier would stay up at night watching those Get Rich infomercials and spent so much money chasing that dollar bill. His home life suffered, his children too. I would not want to see that happen to you. 1) Get a complete physical and have your doctor recommend someone you can 'talk' to for support. To be honest - you are showing signs of someone who might be depressed/bi-polar. I am no doctor -but I have seen people who have operated like this. I pray to God that you will seek the assistance you need and I pray for your future success. You sound like a person with great ideas and purpose - you are needed in the world!

Well maybe something that allows for a little more creativity will be up your alley.. or maybe a check on your values.. being rich might not be all its cracked up to be.. and you should know by now that those get rich quick things don't work.. Take a few minutes off, clear your head - and then re-evaluate what might really be important and what you might want to achieve beyond $$ - - learn to use your "out of the box" skills for something more directly useful - - hope this helps

This might seem a bit goofy, but have you been checked for ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder)? Adults can actually have this, although typically we hear of it in children. You might have ADHD if these symptoms you have mentioned have been present most of your life. When you were in grade school, did you have trouble paying attention in class, staying focused on tasks, etc.? It might be worth checking into. Unfortunately, it isn't like you can take a blood test to find this out. It's a multi-level exam-physical and psychological.

Good luck!
