I know where you are coming from with the questions but you are stereotyping.

There are people who live in the UK who are christians/moslems all different races and religions who do not like Britain and complain about it constantly and I personally would like to see the people who are only here due to the benefit money leave the UK.

There are moslems living all over the EC. I think we have to stop generalising and saying that moslems hate non-moslems. Not all moslems hate the rest of the world, a certain category of moslems we call Islamists want the rest of humanity to disappear so that they can take over and create Islamic states. We have to try (hard) to not spread hatred against moslems because in the end it serves Bin Laden's purpose. Many moslems living in the EC are children of immigrants and their faith gives them an identity because they don't feel as if they are from the country they're living in or from their parent or grand-parents' country. The most difficult thing is to try and get some sort of dialogue going. Twenty years ago being moslem ,catholic or anything else was never an issue now we speak about religion and religious customs every day . I never hear of all the moslem diaspora who fled Iraq or Iran and do not share the Taliban or Hezbollah ideas. There are people who want peace with their neighbours but we only hear the noisy agressive minority who instill fear.

Warren - Iraq was not a Muslim Country. It had a secular constitution where religion was divorced from the administration.

Also for those who say that there are no Muslims who hate Britain, there was a debate on the radio a couple of weeks ago after an NOP survey found that 13% of British Muslims supported the murderers who blew up the tube trains in London.

Even if they want to leave they probably can't because they probably spent most or all of their life serving the country. And the British will not pay no multimillion pound benefits for their service, let alone if they get paid anything at all. It would be a terrible feeliing to think that all their service will not be rewarded if they leave. So the only alternative is to stay and collect benefits for as long as they can. Yes! it could be just the social security benefits.

The situation would not be too different in US either.

Muslims don't hate land, but hate when they see the country in which they live in treat their people unjustly. For example, Britain was one of the countries to break the Middle East apart in order to form countries and really put whoever they felt were good leaders into power. They also helped to create Israel. Now, when their land was torn apart and they sought refuge in the country which ruined their land and they see more injustice, do you think they are going to be happy with what is going on? No. But that does not mean that all of the Muslims in Britain or any other country are going to do anything that others aren't allowed to do. They may protest, but they won't do harm to others. The biggest mistake people always make is to put all groups and or religion on one shelf and are completely forgetting its all individual people.
Of course there are people that don't like Britain, it has nothing to do with being Muslim or christian or whatever.
In Holland we have actually many Muslims and also many other religions, we have several kind of churches, we have moskees, we have synagogues ect, they all have the same rights and rules.
I have some Muslim friends, and many Muslims here are actually making some kind of concession to fit in and integrate, other Muslims here separate themselves and stick more together, they still lock away their wife's, its their decision, there are all kinds of Muslims, just like there are all kinds of Christians.
Bush claims to be a christian, and is using this at every occasion, he is using his god to make war all over, its still only his opinion and he is still doing it himself and only he has to face the consequences, many Christians don't agree, and also many even hate him for several reasons.
In Israel many Jews are protesting there against the war, I know in the US you never see it in the news, the governments are hiding the truth.
So maybe we should stop putting people on Shelves and start looking at the persons.

The one and a half million Britains (as per bomba's answer above) living in Arab countries and several million Britains living in other parts of the world have chosen to live outside their country mainly to escape taxation. The British Muslims chose to live there despite the heavy taxation in your country. Who is patriotic? Who hates Britain?

Many were born there.. they feel it is their home, and wish to stand up for what they believe in, just like any other british citizen.
They would be just like a 100% brittain who has ebraced Islam, and wants to speak out his opinion and defend his interests.. They have just as much right to be there as you do, whether you like it or not.

I know many dutch people in Holland who hate Holland too.. but only cowards would leave.. those who are responsible, will try to change things for the better.. and what is "better" should be discussed, debated, and democratically decided. Those are the rules, and that's final.

You are like those americans who criticize other americans who criticize the US government .. "Well, if you don't like Bush, then go live in Iraq" or other stupid comments.. getting rid of people because you don't like their opinion, is not the spirit of an open (secular, democratic, free) society.

Basically, you should be the one to move to another country where you can kick anybody out who criticizes the country they live in. you should study upon McCarthy'ism in the US.

Thier goal is to create a world Islamic empire like they had for hundreds of years. However instead of doing things through war they are moving into countries and taking over governmental systems. Now granted there are some who are trying to us military force but they will not succeed, but the ones you have to worry about are the those who are trying to take over governments. If you want an example of what I am talking about look at what they are doing to some communities in France.
