Dont u have re-tests in ur school? We have it in our school..go and look into it. Well if u r ever going to attend the re-test be prepared for it. I guess this result u got speaks out a warning sign,,,no more jokes and get into it cos this is ur turning pint.
As for the iit jee..u shouldn't worry much as long as u go about 12th grade like a real cool nerd

You need a tutor. Both your coach and your chem teacher could help you there. Tutors may cost money but some high schools have student tutor volunteers and they may be able to help for free. My suspicion is that you do not know how to study for a chemistry exam. You don't have to be a whiz kid in this subject. Don't expect yourself to get a really high grade but do expect yourself to get a passing grade. Show your teacher that you are really working hard too -- that helps. Do you do well or acceptable in lab? How much does lab count towards your total grade? If you just need a science class, then you might also think about just taking another course, like in Earth Science or something like that.

I guess you should first try to clear you twelth , even if you get rank 1 in jee it wont help if you didnt pass your exam got the point ......
