it depends on the love, yes, the love.... People have affairs for whatever reasons they find necessary. Sometimes two people can meet and fall in love, and yes it does happen and yes it is successful, it is also something that is not really spoken about either. Wake up people, we do not live in a perfrect world, usually we are just in the meantime waiting for what we really desire and need in our lives. Life is about change, NOTHING ever stays the same. SO in my opinion, yes it can happen and yes it can be a success. Just like anything else in life... As far as once a cheater always a cheater, PLEASE, everyone changes in time.. That is why they cheated in the first place.. Not everyone has a glass ball to predict the future, and not everyone gets married to their spouse for the RIGHT reasons. It is not 1920...

Less than 10% ever end up actually working out. There is more fantasy than reality in an adultereous relationship. They are so happy and so right for each other right now, because that is easy when the struggles and trials of daily living are not shared together. They are each part of their problems and dysfunction at home. Changing partners will never relieve them of this.

affairs never work........ any reason for staying in an unhappy marriage, (even if it is for the kids) is an excuse. I believe this guy is wanting to stay in the marriage and have his piece on the side, i say this because kids are very bright, if a couple is unhappy the kids can sense it , so really if the couple is so unhappy it is best for the children to get a divorce anyway,BUT i don't think that he really wants a divorce. he wants to have two women, and as long as your friend lets him, then why would he want to get a divorce?
An affair is a relationship built on lies and distrust on both ends, i personally wouldn't want to be with someone that has cheated on someone or who is willing to cheat with me, knowing that i am married. if they can cheat on someone then why wouldn't they do it to you, because they love you ha! ha! ha!, so what ,they also loved their spouse and look at what they are doing to them.

They dont my friend. I was a victim of an affair. Through Jesus I found myself able to forgive, but until he forgave himself and cried out to Jesus we stayed apart for 2 years and he didnt see our 3 kids. Now that he has Jesus in his life we are married again and he is a much happier person. I can see the change in his eyes. The affair on the other hand, is still married to the man she cheated on and living with another man and gave her kids to her mother, lost her job and lives in a very unsafe area. I pray for her too, but she feels she hasnt done anything wrong. Look at her life. So, I think that once satan is out of the picture people can change through Jesus. I pray that your friend finds his way. I pray that he sees that his children are a gift from God and he is being tested right now.

Once a cheater, ALWAYS a cheater. It would never last. How could either one ever trust the other?
