Hello,
I have a question, what would cause my speedometer to not work and my car stalls while coming to a stop when putting my car in neutral? I just got a rebuilt transmission replace this past Monday and two days ago, I'm having these problems. Does anybody know what this could be?
Thank you

hey! I have a 95 Eclipse and I had the same problem after getting a new transmission in! All it was is that the transmission computer wasn't bolted in all the way. The screws were loose. There was a clip that wasn't bolted on tightly to the computer, but try this website. It has lots of questions and answers!

Better bring it back to where you had it fixed. The speedometer is connected by a cable directly to the transmission, so that would easily tell you that the rework job was not good.

Mitsubishi Eclipse is a problem, regardless. Better trade or sell it and try Mazda, Nissan, Toyota, etc. Almost every 'Mopar' product is junk. I work at an auto auction and those, Eclipses, are the the bottom of quality level.
