Sit out in your empty driveway with a garage sale sign. See how many people actually stop.
Set up a Water Stand, with cups and a pitcher. Advertise 'water, 5 cents'. Make sure the garden hose is in plain sight next to you.
Go to Kmart or Walmart, pick up a folding chair, and pick an off the wall section to just go and sit. Maybe sit and watch the washing machines or sit in the garden section or in front of the aquariums, let your imagination run.
