about exporting timeline.. I just want to be sure that it will be exported as a vcd file on which i can play it on my vcd player. And i did it by exporting into mpeg encoder then to vcd type but when i opened my exported movie,it's an mpeg video type. the difference is when i inserted a real vcd movie,it's file is DAT type. And i guessed that the one I have exported in an Mpeg video type will not play in my vcd player because of file differences. What have I been missed? Or is there anything that i should do after exporting it? Or is there a possibility that it can be play on my vcd player even if its an mpeg video type? My adobe premiere is version 6.5

I faced the exact same problem with premiere -- a video file burnt on cd doesn't play on vcd players, only on laptops.. ie mpeg mode. So... this is what I did...
After creating/exporting the movie in premier, save the file to your computer.
Then import it in windows movie maker. Save it as the appropriate movie type - .mov
Then burn it to cd using Nero - with the 'make a vcd' option selected.
Now your cd will play on all standard vcd players. Voila!

Quiet Technical.
See as far as i remember about premiere, it exports Avi file nicely. But for mpg, u need to have things well setup before. Vcds are 352 x 288 resolution and dat/mpg are mpeg1 or mpeg2 is for DVD or may be SVCD they are little big nearly double the res. so they become VCD Pal or Ntsc or Dvd pal or Ntsc.

If u r sure as per requirement u have setup things ... so just render as mpg if rendering has this option (...i dont think so) or else make an avi and let some AVI to MPG convert the thing to vcd.

If ur footage/composition has above settings quality loss wid be very low.
