Personally, I believe in reincarnation, but there is such a thing as subconscious materialization in which the mind takes on the form of someone it was in a past life. We leave traces energy everywhere, so naturally we try to somehow find a way to retrace our steps. Energy changes form and the mind is a very powerful thing. For all you know, you could be someone's ghost right now. Making things clear, I'm not talking about astral travel, this is different and few of us rarely notice when we revisit our loved ones from a past life in our old forms. This is just a conclusion I've come to about that. Of course, I could be wrong.

I definitely do. I've had far too many experiences to list.
I feel that you're grandfather is not a ghost. Ghosts are stuck between this plane and the next. Spirits have made the transition completely to the other side. Your grandfather successfully crossed over and is trying to let you know that he made the trip just fine. :)

Not only do I believe I have seen as them as well. Can take you back to my childhood and tell you of the children running up and down the stair's in my grandparent's house all hour's of the night, yet there was no one up there, or the time a spirit followed my cousin home and hung itself on their clothesline out back of where they were living. Now to the present, About three year's ago I was living with my mother and her apartment was spooky. Late one night I went into the kitchen to get something to drink and out of the corner of my eye I seen something, glanced to my right at the back door and seen an old man, he turned waved at me and disappeared. On another occasion once more I was heading to the kitchen and happened to look in the living room and seen quite a few people standing around, only vanish a few minute's later. Another time I was alone in the apartment at night and my mother has this cow that moo's everytime you walk past it and I was in my room, no one else in the apartment at all and this cow start's to moo, weird huh? My mother has heard thing's there as well but I don't recall if she ever seen something. Alot was seen and heard there that I cannot explain. A few day's before my grandfather passed away I seen an angel in our bedroom but never knew the meaning till he passed away I belived it was a sign of where my grampa was going. Me and my wife were sitting at home and a shampoo bottle flew out of the bathroom window sill, the window was closed and no wind outside. Just the other day me and my wife were sitting in the livingroom and we have two cat's well we heard what we thought was one of them eating out of their food bowl but here they came around the corner, we believe it was Cassie, my wife's cat of fifteen year's that had passed away not that long ago. I have so many more experience's but I thought I'd share this much.

If the physics of string theory are correct there are as many as 11 dimensions in the universe. Perhaps ghosts are people caught between dimensions. Just a thought.
To any scientists who dispel ghosts as not possible. I'd like to see his or her proof. Science should approach a phenomenon with the attitude that it is possible until proven otherwise.

i believe yes. 2 friends of mine even has a few foto's of them on there cellphone (taken in the same building). Freaky. Like you see a person and there's like some kind of white smoke before them and that has a shape. Like you see the persone on the foto but with a skull over it. Or you see a dog on the picture or a woman. Strange. There's even a foto of me with this large woman next to me.
Oh and then there are of course the more personal incounters. But i won't bore you with them. Anyway, ghosts exist.

Personally I've never had any experiences with ghosts, but my family did - way back before WWI when my grandmother lived in a haunted house (they didn't know it was haunted when they rented it). Had a ghost who came home every night which everyone saw, and nasty poltergeists that pinched and made sounds at night.

my grandmother was in the hospital, and in the evening before she died my dog started barking at her house this wasnt the normal kind of bark it was like between a angry and friendly bark you know like it was barking at someone he knew but it was different.anyway a few year later another relative died and she was sikh like me so we believed in reincarnation or rebirth anyway it depends if you are good your supposed to become human again but if you were bad youll be an animal. So my relatives called this person we would call a "bomoh"or witch doctor so she put this box of sand and put it in her room we put multiple locks on the door and left it for the night and on the next day a foot print of a rat was there since that day we have never killed another rat but after that the lights in our house started blinking and a lot of other things were malfunctioning we soon found out that it was a sin to do the foot print thing.

I have to say yes. My brother and I used to hear footsteps in our condo and one night I was alone watching tv and heard footsteps come down the hallway and into the livinging room. I looked over but could not see anything there. When I looked down at my cat I saw that she was very scared and she too was looking over towards the hallway.
