Go to www.irctc.co.in for deatils about trains, availability of berths, time table, fare and other information. You will have to register your name there. You need to have a credit card or in some cases a debit card for online payment after you are asked to.
On successful payment you are immediately issued a ticket. The actual ticket reaches you within two days. In case you prefer i-ticketing you have to take the print and use it as your ticket.
