I think the National Museum was really worth it and free, The National Gallery is also free. You can do the Tower of London in about an hour. West Minster Abbey was my favorate. You can actually do a lot in one full day. Just get a tube map and check the opening times of the sites you want.

Agree with AAA -- Museum of London is often overlooked. Also, go to a real old pub, St. Pau'ls and Trafalgar Square.

I would go on a boat from Greenwich to Westminster, I would the go on those sight seeing buses then I would go to Leicester Square get tickets to see a musical after which I would head back
