What are the prospects and future of Medical Transcription. What role can a qualified doctor play in it?

I think transcription is over loaded (I know a couple people who tried it, but could not find work.) A Doctor might lend credibility to a business. But I think as computer tech continues to improve, soon it will be all voice recoginition and people will not be require.
