My DVD player has the annoying "multiple scene" icon. How do I get rid of it?

Does any else have this problem with DVD players?

I have looked at the instruction manual over and over. My wife and I cannot make that little icon go away. It is a MagnaVox MDV458.

To top things off, we bought the kids a DVD player and the same thing happens. That icon won't go away either.

you must have activated a set up on your player.without knowing wat kind of icon.....can't tell u wats wrong.
