had a one night stand with a friend of mine, she is 41 and had a tubal 17 years ago and she was married and had regular sex for 16 yrs after the tubal. We had to much to drink and made out but I did not get off in her. I am worried she could get pregnant but she says I am nuts since she had a tubal 17 years ago and I pulled out. Should I be worried about this 1 time or Should I just get a grip and forget about it. BTW I dont want kids and I am having panic attacks from the worrying, and like I said she is not worried one bit and thinks I am nuts.

If she really did have a tubal ligation, you really have nothing to be worried about. I've had one for 13 years and there's not a chance of me getting pregnant. But, let this be a lesson to you, always use protection! You could also get a disease you know.

She had a tubal 17 years ago, had sex for 16 years after, she says don't worry - what the hell is your problem? Wake up and smell the roses, you asinine twit, and get a life.

You are not nuts , I had a Friend who got pregnant after she had a tubal, but it's a one in a million chance that it can happen , the tubes grew back together, they do the operation different now they cut the tubes so they can't grow back together and also burn them. just be more careful and use some protection anyways, for your own peace of mind

Listen to her. She had a tubal AND she is old. At that age even w/out the tubal it is unlikely for her to get pregnant without some help.(fertility treatments).

Yes you're nuts. You are worrying about the wrong thing. Tubal ligations are 99.5% effective as birth control.
They do not prevent STD's. Are you sure you've been asking the right question?
Next time - wear a condom!

don't worry... you should just calm down and not worry about it if she had a tubal then you have nothing to worry about... just relax and if you still feel anxious then just get back to her on that subject in about 3 months and i promise you be OK...
