first of all : don't use wiekepedia to know anything connecting to israel, because it is all written by them and from their point of view

1- throughout the israeli/arab conflict and their wars 1948 , 1956 , 1967 , Lebanon was neutral and didnt join arabs

at the 1967 war israel took all of the terretories palastinians live in , all of palastine , so about a million refugee were fled to the nearest country jordan , and took with them the palastinian resistance PLO , where the king of jordan (pro israel and a well know spy to them) fought those palastinians in his country and expel them from jordan so they went to south lebanon 1971

they kept fighting from there as skrimishing , where most of their operations failed , because they lack experience , modern weapons , everything ...

by 1973 egypt and syria made the joint attack of yom kybour war to regain their own occupyed terretories by israel , lebanon didnt join this war too .

a big war and chaos between lebaneese and eachothers errupted in the mid seventies , israel encoraged that war , made an insider army by a lebaneese colonel (saad hadad) who was an israeli poppet

by 1974, the general assemply of the united nations considered the PLO as the only legal representative to the palastinians ,and for the undeniable rights to the people of palastine

when that war ends , and after the peace treaty between egypt and israel 1979 , israel suddenly attacked lebanon , invaded it to vanish the PLO , and they reached the capital Beirut , and forced the PLO (after killing hundreds as usual) to leave lebanon in ships to Tunis in north africa who accepted to take them to there , and that was the fourth chapter of the tragedy of the palastinian people whom their bad luck , made their land as the choosen land to be taken and given to the jews to istablish a state for them

Now the threat is over , and Israel should now pull back to it's borders .
no , they didn't , but they kept all of south lebanon occupied with the israeli army , and a resistance showed , muslim lebaneese freedum fighters against them , (before that no lebaneese was fighting israel) that resistance called " the lebaneese islamic resistance - hezbollah"

and year by year it become stronger , recieved aid from many countries who are not under direct pressure of USA or Israel , like iran and syria , and of course lebanon

"Hezbollah" is a political party has some members in Lebanon parliament. Also, they have military branch found by Lebanese militias for defense their country against Israel.
They have right to defense their country against Israel barbarism.
The most of parties in Lebanon including, Lebanon government are supporting "Hezbollah" as well.

Actually, "Hezbollah" is only resistance against Israel invading.

aftre 22 years o resistance hezbollah succeded in kicking israel out of lebanon , but israel insist to keep the lebaneese "shebaa farms" so hezbollah didnt disarm yet

the skrimishing was going on for the past 6 years between them , until the kidnapping of the 2 soldiers to trade with the lebaneese and thousands of palastinian prisoners from years in the israeli prisons

2- the rule the U.S. plays in this conflict ? nothing , it just halt a resolution from the security council in the UN to cease fire , it was about 1- 14 in the council , means USA vs the world , but since it is for israel it is ok , so it is responsible for all the killing happening now

USA also declared that they are now sending guided bombs to israel in this conflict , and give them money aiding to compensate any losses to them while killing the lebaneese , destroyin their country

and you wonder why 9/11 happened !!!!!!!! and say why the world hate us , oh it's nothing ...

3- what caused the conflict , it told you , how will it end? hezbollah showed unexpected streanght , and didnt defeat easy , if things gone that way , it will end without significant results , because nothing will change ... if hezbollah loose , that will unleash hell , millions will join the terrorism because they cant stand that unjust , and that atrocity pass with no punishment,... am afraid so ,and let God make us all safe , and make americans see the truth

One of the major roles the U.S. plays is the supply of weapons it gives to the Israelis almost all their munitions and vehicles come from the U.S., along with other funding. This way the U.S. also plays the role that if they really were to come out and demand a cease fire Israel most likely would agree.

What caused the conflict going on now was the kidnapping of 3 Israeli soldiers, and the constant bombardment of Israeli towns with missiles. Israel also originally quoted some damages to a tank as a reason, but this appears to have been fabricated, and was so obviously so that it has been sidelined as a cause.

That obviously is a very basic run through.

1. They hate each other. Always have. Always will.
2. We send about $16 billion a year to Israel, which ends up funding their opression of the Palestinians and alot of other destabilizing actions.
3. See #1, above. Thousands of innocent people on both sides will die, so the religious wackos on both sides can claim they are just defending their rights to freedom.

I side with the civilians on the two aspects. whilst this conflict started, i presumed Israel had the nicely suited to retaliate against Hezbollah for his or her 8 killed and a couple of captured squaddies. yet after listening to approximately all of the civilian casualties, i'm taking off to think of that Israel, understanding that they are going to consistently have the help of the US, is taking photos at everywhere they have the slightest hint that contributors of Hezbollah are, with out even pondering what proportion civilians they kill. i'm no longer asserting Hezbollah is stuffed with angels, yet Israel is not extra effective in the event that they droop to their point. the only human beings you could help in this conflict with a sparkling judgment of right and incorrect are the Israeli and Lebanese civilians who're caught interior the middle.
