Ok folks, I'm not trying to sound racist nor am I a bigit, I am just curious about a few things. One, why is it when black people talk they say "I be" or "I is?" Not all speak like this I know, but the majority of African Americans I've come across do. Also, why do male blacks in the company of friends or women feel the need to be obnoxious and or fake? And why do African Americans spend $3500 dollars on a set of tires and rims yet drive a vehecle that's are worth $2000 dollars and live in low income housing? (Not all are this way, let me get t his clear, but most that I have come across are) Why do black people take so long in the drive thru? I've never understood this? Why don't most black males make good eye contact when speaking to them? If the word n i g g e r is considered offensive to blacks why do they call each other this? If this offends some I do apologize, take it how you must, I just would like to know these things.

Oh, I don't think "people are people" is an proper answer at all to this question (nor is insulting the asker with stupid" remarks like "anal."

And I heartily disagree that "you don't want to go there" crap. That is the attitude of a coward.

The United States is an extremely racist nation, perhaps since the fall of the facist apartheid regime in South Africa, the most racist nation of the Earth! You people as Americans desperately need to come to grips with this problem before it swamps you in a sea of race hatred and violence.

In the 1960s the US was well on the way to an integrated multi-racial society. The unjust laws and social norms of the past had been exposed and to a large part, removed. A huge percentage of young "whites" were 100% involved in the destruction of the old racist system not only in the South but across the US. The US was moving to a truly intrgrated society.

Then during the 70s and 80s the entire racial question in the US was high-jacked by the social fascists of the atheist hard left along with most of the black voters. They have a social agenda which does not and never has included "racial harmony" nor "equality." Keeping the black race down and under their control is the objective.

Part of this campaign is the nonsence of re-naming "blacks" as "African-Americans" which if you look at it is no different that calling them the "N" word, simply because you have NEVER heard a white man called a "European-American." Then there is the stupid nonsence of pretending that black gutter slang is some whole new language "ebonics." Manufacturing a phony "black" holiday to compete with Christmas. The social psycho-babble to explain that the black is not a criminal at all but really just a "poor victem" of white racism. And on and on and on and on and on. If you want, read some of the excellent writtings by such brilliant black leaders as Clarence Thomas or J.C. Watts. (who are constantly villified by the black lackys of the white "liberal" social fascist left.)

The purpose is NOT to "empower" the black men and women in the United States, it is to isolate them, and keep them under the control of the hard left. They are to be kept SEPARATE, ISOLATED, POOR and CRIMINAL in order to better control them.

(Just look at any black who fails to fall in line with the "politically correctness" dictated by the hard-left. Four years ago Harry Belefonte, a raving hard leftist black immigrant from the Carribean, gave a speach in which he referred to Condi Rice and Colin Powell, the two most powerful black individuals on the planet Earth at that moment as "house n*ggers" for George Bush. Not one leftish "liberal" black "leader" even raised a voice of objection! Not one.)

You fall out of line you are publically humiliated with lies from a hard core lefty like Anita Hill or you are pillaried as a "house-n*gger!" Stay in line and you get government welfare money, crack cocaine, 9mm Glocks, a free ride in the courts and all the "booty" you can handle.

I don't give a "rat's *ss" if anybody agrees with me, but at the bare minimum, y'all better start paying some serious attention to what's going on in your country and forget the stupid distractions like "reality" shows," American Idol, Paris Hilton and so on.........

Well to answer your questions in turn, the way I see it:-

* If some black people say "I be" or "I is" it's just a dialect they use. Like any other dialect out there - there's loads of different places within the UK where dialects change (black and white) according to where you are. It's makes life more interesting.

* A lot of black males and white males (and black and white women for that matter) act fake when out with friends. Maybe it's showing-off or being insecure. It's not limited to a race or a gender though.

* Lots of people (esp young people of all races) soup up their cars. They do it where I live too and it's predominantly white here. It's just a thing young men like to do. Pretty harmless.

* I don't use drive-thrus so I cannot answer this question. I haven't noticed black people taking longer in any other queues though.

* I don't know about eye contact. I do know that in some cultures the males won't look at a woman's eyes too long especially if she's with her guy. I discovered this myself when travelling. They'd consider it rude and intrusive, I guess, and afraid it could possibly start trouble with the guy.

* The N-word. Well I guess, generally speaking, when whites use the word they are using it with the intention to insult which is never good. It's like we all joke around with pals and stuff. Some guys would call a friend "Fat Bob" for instance and it would be meant in a friendly way. But if someone else said he was fat to hurt him, that would be different.

I hope this helps!!!

The first thing to understand that each culture has different upbringings. The grammar that we use is part of our upbringing. Some of us weren't corrected as children to say "I get mad when......" after we may have said "I be mad when...." There wasn't a huge emphasis on proper usage of grammar in some of our households as children. Ridin' on rims that cost more than the car is part of our style. White people fix up Hyundai's, Honda's, etc to fit their style, Hispanics fix up cars to fit their style. It's simple as that. The low income housing thing is the product of poor education in schools, lack of community involvement, government funding for the community to initiate programs for the youth that would give them another option besides the streets, the lack of role models/leaders in the black community, and not to mention the cost of living compared to the wages that most low income housing people receive. I wont even address the question about the "drive thru", because PEOPLE period take long in the drive through. I myself, being a black man, cant explain the thing about eye contact, because I always have. It was taught to me as a child about making good eye contact, so maybe that and the level of confidence in a person plays a part in making good eye contact. There is a difference between "n i g g e r" and "n i g g a". The first version of this word was bestowed upon our ancestors through racism and we dont address each other with that version. The second is symbolic of friendship/association like "That's my n i g g a right there, he's cool!" I myself think the latter version shouldnt be used so openly by our people because other nationalities may find it comfortable to use the term, not knowing the consequences that come with using that term. It's ok to some of us because we know that we aren't using it towards each other in a derogoratory way. It's kinda like a "members only" thing. Hope that helps a lil' bit. Peace!

This is the age of being offended, so I'll try and tread lightly. I'm not bigoted either. There is a big trend among all youth, regardless of race to try and impress. This can be buying expensive rims, loud exhaust, loud stereos. This is really someone trying to compensate for a lack of self-worth, not because of race. I know plenty of decent hard-working people of all races that never get noticed because they don't need to scream out "here I am". They simply do their job and go about their business. My best suggestion is to not be put off by this display of angst and don't let it change a thing that you're doing. By all means, don't let be an excuse to stereotype people because of their race.

i'm thinking that the greater issues seem to alter the greater they stay the comparable. all of us understand with time issues exchange yet each and according to annum its the comparable previous ingredient purely different in some ingredient. New president yet comparable previous issues in spite of differences made. Society differences with varieties in outfits, housing, education, faith, family members existence yet its nonetheless the comparable because it constantly has been. perhaps its the thought continues to be the comparable.
