Or have to go to far. I even welcome ideas to do around the house. The garden is done, the housework done. What can I do for fun? Its really really hot outside.

Can you go to the movies? How about the park?
If you have a place nearby to go swimming, I would do that.
Relax and unwind. Now that your chores are done, you can sit back and relax a bit. Listen to music you like or read a book just for fun.

Invite people to your home for fun, dinner, etc.
Practice your guitar, drums, etc.
Go fishing or crabbing in a shady spot.
Have a picnic by a lake so you can wade in the water to cool off.
Hang out in a mall because malls are air-conditioned.
Go to a musuem because most are air-conditioned.

Repaint a room. That makes a fun last project.
Or get an allday pass to an amusement park.

Umm is there a Mrs or significant other that can help with this. I don't know about you but practicing the loving can help pass the day especially when you know you have all the time it takes to get it right. Lucky you! :)

Go to your local library and spend the day browsing books, then take out some DVDs to watch at home. It's free, you'll stay cool, and you might even learn something.

Put some shorts on and have a barbecue. Or go thru paperwork and clean out your files. And just relax and watch a movie on tv.

It depends on who you are, what you are, and where you are.
But if it's hot out, I'd think about running around in the sprinkler in that finely crafted yard. Got a pool?
