That may be the very reason I don't have a spouse, currently, or for the last 18 years. Communication very necessary. Guessing, wondering, speculating all dangerous in relationship interactions.

No, I think I am the guilty party here. My boyfriend gets frustrated sometimes. With me, though, it's more like this - I'll talk when I'm ready to talk. If he can figure out what's wrong (which does happen about half the time) then it will help me open up sooner, but if not, he has to wait until I'm ready.

As for him, I CAN read his mind. He thinks about 3 things....

No that is really wrong, if anyone want something they should let the other one know.
If they are down and sad just confort them and be there for them and they will love u more.
show a smile when they are down u will see that they love u as much.
What do u want ur spouse to do when ur down and affriad to tell them b-coz they may get sad also??
A kiss always does the trick.

Yes, absolutley. But i do it too, and I know i do it. Wisdom for you guys: something goes wrong, so we crack the sh!ts... don't ask us whats wrong! We will only snap NOTHING! while inside we're cursing you. This is because you should know what you have done wrong, we don't want to have to explain to you because they would be annoying, we shouldn't have to, and we just want you to know because it's your fault, ok? I think if a woman is suddenly snooty, turning her back and snapping at you, the man should simply apologise, or say, I love you, or offer a massage... women really aren't that hard to please, and men do the 'read my mind thing' too, just more subtly.
Hope this helps you, good luck with your relationship

Most wives expect husbands to understand them because they deal more on feelings. It is where some misunderstanding begins But nature have it that man and woman are wired differently. It takes a lot of good communication to understand each other well plus maturity.

My spouse doesn't expect me to KNOW what's wrong, but I think its reasonable to expect me to know SOMETHING is wrong. I can tell when she is in a bad mood and can help her get out of it by talking to her about it.

No, but they don't expect to have to say the same thing over and over again. My husband thinks I want him to read my mind. I just want him to pay attention and remember the things I have already said so I don't have to keep repeating myself. I hate when he acts all innocent after doing something that he knows upsets me for the umpteenth time.

In alot of situations yes the spouse just assumes you should know. Sometimes we forget to let you all in on the problem.

Well you're meant to be 'soulmates' so you should know what the other one is thinking or wateva. And You should know them well enough to manage SOME things. But not all. If she (i persume its a she) expects you to know every little wish, by reading it off her eyes, she's very high-maintenance. If you're bugged by it tell her that you cant take so much and that you're only human!

Bad news guys, my (ex-) husband expected me to read his mind..and to only have the same feelings he was having but wasn't expressing.

He also wanted me to BEG him to find out what was wrong.

So women aren't the only ones doing this nonsense.

Talk about mind bendingly BORING!!
