You took the words right out of my mouth.
They say that stuff sells but I'd be willing to bet that if they put on some really good shows like they did in the past that are entertaining and yet don't have all of that in it, most people would watch it.

It is a sad commentary on the state of the world and the advancement of human decay when you watch todays television. Evidently the powers behind these programs and commercials believe that the public can be bombarded with smut because we are stupid, can be easily manipulated and bought & sold. By this constant barrage of distasteful & immoral programing they can tear us down to the lowest common denominator.Today what is wrong is right and what is right is wrong, and if you don't like it, it is your problem, you are not cool enough or "with it". This is not only demeaning to the viewers, it is an attack upon our children and society as a whole. Today we are seeing outrageous things on television that only a few short years ago would have been unheard of (i.e the tacky viagra commercials, Janet Jackson's oh-so-well orchestrated "wardrobe malfunction", Flavor Flav's "Flavor of Love", the obscene & immoral dating shows, et al). We are in a spiritual battle warfare and TODAYS TELEVISION IS SATANS TABERNACLE. It is a very scary, immoral & regretfully Godless world we are living in and television today mirrors & encourages that. Let us pray for each other and ask that God open our eyes to the reality of the manipulation, propaganda and diabolical attack upon mankind via the open cess-pool that we call todays television.
