had a one night stand with a friend of mine, she is 41 and had a tubal 17 years ago and she was married and had regular sex for 16 yrs after the tubal. We had to much to drink and made out but I did not get off in her. I am worried she could get pregnant but she says I am nuts since she had a tubal 17 years ago and I pulled out. Should I be worried about this 1 time or Should I just get a grip and forget about it. BTW I dont want kids and I am having panic attacks from the worrying, and like I said she is not worried one bit and thinks I am nuts.

If she had her tubal done that long ago, it isn't growing back. I had mine done 4 years ago and they told me the chances of it growing back diminish after the age of 32. I would say you can sleep at night knowing that you don't have anything to worry about.

First of all relax, working your self into a panic attack is not going to change the facts of life. If it happens or it doesn't your "freaking out" is going to make it "OK". Second, as with everything, nothing is 100%, but your changes are high that she will not get pregnant. Especially if she been sexually active without any other contraceptives and not gotten pregnant. Third, I mean no offense to your friend, but beware of STDs. Pulling out and a tubal cannot protect yourself against that. Signs and symptoms may not appear for 10 years(HIV). Be careful and good luck.

k take a deep breath and relax. I have a tubal over 10 years ago n have regular sex (any damn time I can) and without fear of getting pregnant.

I was worried also but my obgyn (female area doctor) and she said that after 7 years there is no way as ur tubes become shriveled n really nothing could pass through.

so u can breath easy n next time put a condom on n it will help prevent not only pregnancy but a lot of other nasty things that you can get with unprotected sex u know STDS

You can be very rested assured that she is not going to get pregnant. After all she did have it 17 years ago. She is not going to get pregnant, one night stand or every night, it is not going to happen. You can go to sleep and stop worrying about it. I know I had mine done a long time ago too, and after 17 years, nope it's not going to happen. But I would suggest that you wear protection, not for pregnancy purposes but for STD purposes.

You know that the chances are almost nil...but thats not your problem... You feel you have cheated her & her family... You also do not want your family to get disturbed with this one time act... The feeling of guilt makes you a worried man!!!
After reading all the answers, dont you feel a little relieved now?
Can I tell you something? You are totally selfish!! You did not worry about what would happen to her but is only worried about your offspring in her!!!
