You can't make him. This just comes down to respect between two people. There are 2 people living in the house, so the work should be shared. And each of you should do it properly, without making a scene.
Just try the calm and reasonable approach and say that you need to share the load. It may be that he doesn't notice what needs doing, doesn't know where to start or how to do it. So do it together at first, chat while you're doing it.
If he's out of work it may hurt that he can't provide, and he may not want to do housework. So be sensitive.

That is a good question but usually no matter if he works, or sits on his *** all day, he still comes up with excuses of why it is the womans job to do the housework... I'm right there with you.

Ask him nicely to help out a bit. Even if he doesn't do all the housework, but at least does something to help out, then at that point praise him and stroke his ego. Usually that gets a man to do more and more as they (and women) love their ego's stroked. But I'm lucky, my guy just automatically cleans the house, whether I am there or not. But then again, he's the clean freak, and I'm the one that doesn't mind a little mess here and there, so it worked out for me. lol..

Just tell him you are sick and tired of working all day and then having to clean house as well. That if things don't change and you get help you will have to find other alternatives. Pissed my other off so bad he cleaned from top to bottom and then he would only clean when he wanted sex when i got home. He is an ex now lol

Maybe you can sit him down someday when hes in a really good mood and make sure ur clear on what u want so that he doesnt turn it on u later on. simply tell him ur a little overworked n would really appreciate it if he could help out a little once in a while. from there u can work ur way up 2 equal participation when it comes to ur chores.

Use positive and negative reinforcement.

Have him understand why it's beneficial for him to have a clean house.

If he sees it as a chore, and you're trying to force him into doing it, that'll give him negative reinforcement.

Tell him you appreciate it when he helps around the house. Help him to see how a clean home is a reflection of his character, and how it shows you how he cares about you.

tell him he is a lazy fat c**t adn to get of his fat hiney and do some work, you tell him this "i am at work all bloody day adn the least you could do is clean the frikkin house adn if you dont yoour not getting any lovin" then see what he says, or you could just not clean the hous let it get so messy that he lives in his own filf adn only cook adn wash up 4 urself, adn wash your own clothes, it is not fair that everything should be left to you, uh uh so dont put up with it, i sure as hell wouldnt. especially as i cant claen nor do i lkie it.
