We have recently found we are pregnant with our 2nd child. Our daughter is 10 months old. We would like to tell the family in a cute way, somehow involving our daughter. For the first pregnancy we wrapped bibs that said "I Love My Grandma" and gave them to our mothers. Any other ideas?

Get your daughter a t-shirt that says "I'm a big sister,' and have her wear it to a family gathering.

I have some friends who had a birthday party for their first child and watched a slideshow of pictures of the child's previous year (or maybe it was 2 years because it was the child's second birthday.) And at the end of the slideshow, there was a slide that said, "Coming in Sept. baby number 2." It was cute and very unexpected by the family. If you were wanting to wait a couple of months before you tell, this might be an idea for you.

When my cousin told his mother about their second child, they did a home movie with the 1st child wearing "I am going to a big brother" or something to that effect t-shirt.

I think the t shirts idea should work the best but make sure people are actually going to pay attention to the shirt make it noticeable

Maybe just tell them in a realistic way. I would assume most people would appreciate straight forwardness when dealing with the birth of another human being. As you know... it's kind of a big deal.
