Suicide is legal in the UK and has been since the introduction of the Suicide Act 1961 (England and Wales) and the Criminal Justice Act 1966 (Northern Ireland). Suicide has never been illegal in Scotland.

Well yeah!!! No question. If you commit suicide, then the British equivilant of the AMA won't get any more money out of you, and the government can't have that. Just like in the US. The AMA WILL get money out of you, so of course suicide is illegal. Has nothing to do with morals or religion. Has everything to do with money

i dont know. but what would they do if it were illegal? arrest the one who did himself in?
