Baseball teams during this time of year put expensive big name talent on waivers to see how much interest there is on him. i.e. Boston put Manny Ramirez through the same process a couple of years ago to see if there is any takers. He will be pulled back after the waiver period is finished. When the season is over the team that made the claim and the team in question will then discuss what players to trade for the star player, then maybe the player gets traded. Jones ain't going anywhere.

In Atlanta. The braves have had Andruw for 10 years, when he was 19. Plus, he is on a 13.5 million for one year. That's a bargain!! He is staying in Atlanta and then going into the HOF.

It would be a travesty if he is elected into the Hall of Fame before Dale Murphy. The best ATLANTA Braves player EVER (Murphy) should be enshrined FIRST.

He'll more than likely stay in Atlanta. They say at 1 pm today the one team who claimed him off waivers will be revealed.

I can't see the Braves letting him go, but if they do then I bet he ends up with the Yankees, but he should go to the Rockies.
