No, I don't. That kind of thinking just causes more problems. I believe in Jesus' Golden Rule: Do to others what you would have them do to you. We all make mistakes. I would rather see people forgive, even if they can't forget, and move past the unpleasantness as quickly as possible. If you follow the "don't get mad ..." policy it may escalate to such proportions that someone gets seriously injured or worse.

Anger begets anger. Hatred begets hatred. Violence begets violence. Example: George W. Bush had a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein because of how he humiliated his daddy during Desert Storm. So, when the events of 9-11-01 unfolded, Dick Cheney persuaded a simple-minded President to illegally and unconstitutionally invade another sovereign nation that in no way had threatened, provoked or attacked the U.S.A.
Cheney played on George's hatred to invade an oil-rich nation so that Cheney and his buddies at Exxon-Mobil could eventually get all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands (with the cooperation of the new Iraqi government which Cheney helped install).
Getting mad - and then getting even - hasn't worked too well. Iraq is in total distress. The United States taxpayers are now TRILLIONS of dollars in debt because of a senseless war that Bush wanted just because of his personal hatred toward some other despot.

No I don't. Getting even usually causes more problems than it's worth. You won't be mad forever so just go with the flow.
