Americans know we have made some bad choices but we look up to the kurds who were already running a democracy with a good economy and that was with the nut in power. How can Kurds be in the same country as those other people who would rather murder eachother then get a job.

most americans wouldnt know a kurd from a turd. thats the reality of it. but i agree with you. kurds i think have a rep. for being hard workers etc. but they wont get their own country in this lifetime because the turks, the iranians, and the iraquis dont want them to. well....unless iraq breaks up into pieces then they might get their bit up north, that is, if the turks let them.....especially since they would have decent oil deposits

Sadaam had the same problem as "Little Miss Muffet"...He had Kurds in his way...The U.S. had ended his rule in the "Spider hole!!"
