open ur yahoo email account and then open options. now click on general preferences. and here select show all header on incoming messages in the header's portion. now save settings and come back to inbox . open that mail and look at the received line it will show u like this "received= 203.135.21.47" . copy these digits and now open the site www.easywhois.com and then click on iplookup and then paste the digits in the bar and hit enter. it will then tell u from where the mail came . it will tell me the geographical location of the person who sends u the email.

On a general basis, one can go to the web address http://members.yahoo.com/ and type the yahoo ID to find out the name of the person. But it the anonymous sender have not filled up his profile properly, it will be difficult for your to know the person.

You can usually only trace e-mail if it was threatening.

mention here the email address service provider like yahoo or gmail. well you can trace the location of email from the IP address.
check the full headers of the email and u will c the originating ip.

enter the first part before the @ check to see if they have a mebers area, see what happens.
