I'll take a book over a movie almost everytime. The exception is when there is a 'novelization' based on a movie. The book for the first Batman movie was atrocious.

This is a hard choice. If I had to choose though I'd say books because you can read a book anywhere, anytime - a movie you have to be at a movie theatre or have the movie and view it at home or where there is viewing equipment. Book, portable, anywhere!

The books are better than movies hands down but the movies are just magical them selves!!!
