There is ample evidence that being homosexual is a genetic predisposition.
There is ample evidence that being alcoholic is a genetic predisposition.
There is ample evidence that being a violent criminal is a genetic predisposition.
You are still talking about lifestyle choices here as all three chose which way they will go with their predisposition

I'm not sure if I was born this way. I discovered I had feelings for both men and women very early. I remember telling my mother I wanted to have 2 husbands and 2 wives before I understood that 1 is the limit.
I knew a woman who got her first crush on a woman at age 60. I also knew a man who only dated men until he met a woman and married her. I have no way of knowing if this was a "real" change or if they were always latent bisexuals.
My best guess on how it works is that some people are potentially bisexual from birth. If they have the freedom to explore their feelings for both sexes then they will be attracted to both. If pressure is put on them to comply with the norm, they will either suppress homosexual feelings or they will rebel and deny any heterosexual attraction.

I am a bisexual woman, who at 47 grew up during a time when I didn't know what homosexuality was as it wasn't talked about like it is now.
I knew I was 'different' at a very young age, but choose to fit in into the straight world (out of fear).
My preference is and always has been women.
It isn't the sex of the person, if they are male or female, but rather who that person is on the inside.
So in answer to your question, I was born homosexual, I am bisexual by way of society.

I'm not bi and have a hard time understanding how they literally like both sexes BUT I've had many bi friends who have stated they really believe they were born that way.

I suspect that it is a interaction of environment and biology that gives us the orienation we have. I think too though that men, especially, are naturally bisexual or at least have the abilty to be aroused by both genders.

No! I Believe that bisexuality and homosexuality is a thing that a person chooses to be. You are not born Gay or Bi, and to say so is utterly ridiculous!

Yes.
No one chooses what they want to be, especially if they are something that society despises, mistrusts, or finds generally disagreeable. In the case of bisexuality, it HIGHLY likely that MOST people are bisexual to a degree and people who identify themselves as bi are just being honest about it.

Answer me this were you born that way? If not neither were they it is something that you choose to be.
The thought enters the head and it is up to you to reject it. we are all born with free will we are the ones that make those decisions.
