we are four people planning to visit niagara falls in Canada. I have green card, my wife is citizen v/s other two friends has only visiter visa since they have come to visit USA. Can we all go and visit without visa for 1 day or we have to get it from canadian embassy. Please advise.

Depends on your country of origin. American citizens typically only need a drivers license (but a passport is better) to visit Canada.

be very careful, canada is great for letting you in, then causing problems to get out...
