As long as there are two people together on this world you will have at the very least an argument.
Even the loving married couple will have an argument sooner or later...

We cannot!
Human beings naturally group together. We are tribal and territorial. This goes back to the beginnings of humanity. When our particular group comes across another group, we regard them as possible competitors, for food resources etc.
Our 'ingroup' therefore regards the 'out-group' with suspicion, which can quickly build to hostility.
So we cannot stop hate and hostility, we can only control it through building mechanisms whereby we can settle our differences peacefully.

When we stop hate and when we are not hostile,
everyone points the finger at something or someone else.
and when you point your finger at someone, notice that you have (3) fingers pointing back at you..
when can we? right now,,
yet right now stop it,,what are you willing to do for that cause?
what are you, willing to give u p, what ideals would you reevaluate?
i also want the world to no longer be angry, hateful, cruel, arrogant,,i also know in order for things to change, i must change..
when we all get together and tell our heavenly father, i give up, can't do it anymore, please take over i surrender,
at the same time, all over the world, join hands, and pray to the most highly power, and ask for forgivenes, and be willing to love thy neighbor,, maybe then

HATE:
In general, stems from misunderstandings about another persons background, whether it be their country of origin, religion, race, financial status or personality. Namely, ignorance is to blame. Often, people hear from others close to them, some ignorant dialog generalizing a particular set of people, and rather then thinking for themselves, they accept the belief as gospel.
Just look at how ingrained people can be about how their own views on certain subjects are right, and practically refusing to think about the other persons perspective. That's why discussions about politics and religion are usually heated. The participants are usually more interested in expressing their view, than listening to the other persons view.
That brings me to communication. 95% of the population really has no idea how to communicate and process information correctly. Besides being able to communicate your own view effectively, people need to learn to listen and understand. Then once they understand an perspective, they then must be able to develop critical thinking skills to enable them to consider various other perspectives.
I've also noticed that people do not tend to want to accept responsibility for their own actions. Our world seems to foster the notion that whatever happens, is someone Else's fault.
Finally, the world needs a better spiritual sense. And by that, I do not mean more people need to adopt any certain religion. I mean people need to grasp certain base spiritual truths and apply them to their lives. IOW, I'm not saying that people need to believe in Jesus, or Muhammad, or Buddha...etc. I'm not saying the Catholics are right, or Islam is right, or any other religion is right, and that only by finding a link with a particular religion, will people "see the light".
Once someone has embraced certain basic spiritual truths, they would be encouraged to apply critical thinking skills to the notions which separate us as the human race, discover that people are all pretty much the same on the inside, learn to appreciate our differences as a cultural palette, and stop perpetuating hate out of ignorance.
In short, teaching critical thinking skills and spirituality.
HOSTILITY
If hate were abolished, by being replaced with an earth full of people with refined communication skills, critical thinking skills and a sense of spirituality, how much hostility would be left?
Other than the criminal element, (which would also be largely diminished), probably not much.
Mankind appears to still be in the infancy stage, especially in areas of religion/spirituality, education and psychology.

If you are referring to these two emotional states of experiencing in a sense of eliminating them from existence, then you are seeking to eliminate them from the experiencing of those who have not as yet used them to move to the virtues which are their opposite. This, of course cannot be done as it would be unjust.
Do you follow what I mean? Often people forget that they are not the only people on this journey through Creation. There are numberless Souls which have not as yet incarnated on the physical plane of existence. Each of these Souls will need to experience both hate and hostility as well as every other emotional state of being. Life is perfect, although it rarely seems so. It is our perspective that is immature, not life that is wrong. It is to serve the purpose of life that everything within life exists... and this includes all elements positive as well as all elements negative.
In a collective sense, everything possible can be explored, and is. This is as it should be. How else would one explain the failure of all the Utopian ideals that, through substantial effort and loss of life, come into existence.... only to be proven to be less than ideal? Communism, socialism, etc., all believed to be the panacea of Man are developed only to end in failure because each seeks to eliminate that which Man needs, individually, to experience.
Each of us is on an individual path, an individual road to personal salvation which each one has to achieve alone. The illusion is that we share this process with others. The illusion is seductively subtle and truly seems to be collectivist, but it is not. The elimination of negativity can only take place from "within" each individual.... and this comes from having personally experienced the result of negativity. Without the experience of hate and hostility, one cannot make a "choice" to rise above these natural expressions of emotional energy, and chose love and patience.
So, although it might seem to be a laudable thing to be against, hate and hostility are as necessary to the development of the human being as are air and food. Focus within oneself for all that is necessary... and allow that each human being is fully capable of experiencing what he/she needs to do as well. But this is perhaps a perspective that not everyone can appreciate?

religion is the primary cause for hate and hostility. if people could be educated to understand that the koran, bible, etc. are philosophies and not the "word of god" people might come together. religion has caused even more bloodshed than greed. perhaps they are one in the same?

It will never be stoped if people dont stop teaching it to the children. If you are raised to hate than that is what you will do. Some ppl think that our goverment helps as well by giving or ethnic backgrounds breaks on alot of stuff what they dont understand is that they can get breaks as well. If we do not stop showing hate on people that it will never stop.

Why is the word "hate" slung around so much?
Hate is okay so long as you hate the right things and don't hurt anyone. Like...you shouldn't hate people, but you should hate sin.

with love and understanding...if focus more on helping someone other than ourselves this may start a chain reaction and thwart hat and hostility around the world.
