Don't be silly, car deer accidents are real and amount to millions of dollars in damages for insurance companies nation-wide each year. As human population increases the deer are loosing their natural habitat and become traffic nuisance. When you see a sign warning of deer crossings try to remember this. The animals are known to be in that area and are apt to cross the roadway. Heed those warnings and pay attention , you don't want to be one of the car / deer casualties that ends up in a death of you of your passengers.

They don't. The sign just tells people that deer tend to cross the roads in that area and people will try not to hit any.

the same way they get that blind man to cross only at that interscection...I guess. I think that they put those signs up in the areas that do not have high fencing near the street, in deer "infested" areas.

The deer have to take training classes and get road crossing certified. When they don't, thats when they get hit by cars.

You live in my neighborhood. Don't you? They don't. I've taken fur off deer two miles before the sign in the past. I've also blown tires swerving to miss them.
