IT DEPENDS ON SACHIN'S COME BACK AFTER HIS INJURY.
IF HE GET HIS RHYTHM RIGHT, ITS TOO DIFFICULT TO PONTING ACHIEVE A RECORD BREAK.

I think so yes...Sachin is so prone to injuries in recent times even his own coach Greg Chappel has said that he is not 100% fit. Look at Ricky! 31 centuries at the moment and still 31yrs Ricky will go beyond Sachin am sure, probably by early 2007

u See sachin record can be broke in case of test matches by ricky..
but his record in odi can never be broken..
he is still playing yaar! and he is not a retired person. so his record will not be broken even if he does Sachin will again do records!!
If he really got the guts, Ricky can break Sachins record!!

becoz sachin is still unstoppable for next 2 years or so..
and then the mission for ponting will be too far becoz he has also only 3-4 years of cricket left

I dont think Ricky will cross Sachin in terms of centuries(in ODI's )..But there is every chance for him to do it test cricket.
