No the baby and the mother doesn't feel the embilical cord being cut as it is joined with no nerves in it but it is like rubber to cut.

There arent any nerves in the cord so neither the mom nor the baby can feel it being cut.

No, babies feel nothing when the umbilicus is cut. They don't let out a peep!

Conversely, when a boy baby is circumcised he screams bloody murder. And rightfully so! Unless there is a religious need for this barbaric practice, you should pass on it. There is no medical need for it.
