Mini Pins and cats I dont know. I dont like cats that much but if you want a cat to shed less get a brush with thick brissels and get it deep in the cats fur and youll get a lot of loose fur thats just hanging around off. It will prevent the cat from shedding ALOT

Any dog or cat that has short hair. It also depends on the season as well because if either are in a warm environment they will shed alot to keep cool.

Don't know about cats, but a friend of mine had a standard poodle - they don't shed fur at all. They actually grow wool, which has to be sheared off. Very good for owners with allergies.

Try getting something like a bichone frise or jack russel if you want a dog that sheds little and has not dander. dogs are pretty much classified under two things when it comes to their coats-fur and hair. Hair dogs, like the ones I mentioned she VERY VERY little and have to trace of dander.

shorthaired cats shed less but they still do shed lots! no matter what type of cat you get just brush it every morning and every night when it comes in if its and outdoor cat, but if it's an indoor cat then just brush it when ever you see lots of loose hair on it's back.

Airedale terriers, Welsh terriers, West Highland terriers and poodles shed almost no hair but need haircuts!
Ragdoll cats also shed almost no hair, as they don't have fluffy undercoats!
