First of all its "Charles Dickens". And yes I have read some of his books, like "David Copperfield", "Great Expectations", and "Tale of Two Cities".
He's a brilliant writer, even though he's not exactly a favourite author.

I've read several things Charles Dickens wrote. Some were assigned in school, and I read some on my own. He is far from being my favorite author. I like A CHRISTMAS CAROL best. Some of the others seem tedious and mildly depressing to me. I suppose A TALE OF TWO CITIES isn't so bad.

Of course I have read many of CHARLES DICKENS' books.
"A Tale of Two Cities" is my favorite.
Many people consider the first line of that book, "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times ... ", the best opening line ever written for a novel.

No I never did. Who is charrels deckens? However, years ago I did read several works by Charles Dickens. How can some one who purports being able to read the English language can screw it up when writing a sentence is beyond dumb.

A Christmas Carol is such a lovely story!!! It's just so charming.
I also read Tale of Two Cities for school last year. I look back and from the "now" it wasn't so bad, but then, ugh. It's a really good story that makes many good points.

I had to read Christmas Carol in 7th grade. Loved it. Then read Olivers Twist. Loved it. Then read Tale of Two Cities. Loved it.

Then I read David Copperfield and said I will NEVER read another thing that this man writes again.
