Why do the same people who berated Bill Clinton for his Monica scandal sing the praises of Rudy who had an affair, threw his wife out of Gracie mansion and divorced her. Talk about a double standard!

You obviously think that right wing republicans care about truth and that a well rounded argument will sway them. If only that were so, we wouldn't have people like Bush and Cheney running the country.

Republicans didn't dislike Clinton because of the Monica scandal. They disliked him for a variety of other reasons. It's a fallacy whenever people blame the dislike of Clinton on Monica. The press cared more about that than any American, as the polls showed.

They aren't the same people.
Since Bill is Democrat and Rudy is autocrat... sorry Republican, different groups would be cheering and/or jeering.

To the best of my knowledge, RG hasn't lied under oath about it.
BTW: I think the RG did a great job in NYC, but I wouldn't vote for him in the R primaries.
