Donnie Darko
Dracula 2000
Pleasantville
Dark City
The Crow
Dangerous Liaisons
Ladyhawk
Legend
Matrix I, II, III
The Thirteenth Floor
Frequency
Dead Again
Signs
The Never-ending Story
13th Warrior
King Arthur

All these are only some of my favorite films. The reason? They stir my imagination while at the same time provide me with a feeling of closure and balance at the end.

I have several,

Lock Stock & Two Smoking...because I love the way its filmed, I love the way its been written, coming round in a full circle and the ending, just so cool!

Memphis Belle...because its based on a true story and always makes me cry....

The Godfather films...I just love them, such a good story and well acted, truly believeable

The Devils Advocate....Al Pacino, need I say more, but an excellent story well done

Silence of the Lambs...A superb story and superb acting, truly draws in the viewer to thinking Hannibals not such a bad guy after all.......

Stand By Me- a lovely tale about four friends who embark on a journey to find a body of a missing boy, this event makes them realise how important friendship is. Written by Stephen King called 'The body' i absolutely love it. You should see it.
The Lost Boys- funny vampire movie, in fact my favourite ever made, got a brilliant soundtrack to it as well.
Crash- it has alot of stuff about racism in America which is true and can be applied to other countries in term of racial issues amongst all races
Sleepers- this movie mad me cry so much... makes you realise how much pain and suffering people can experience in a life time and how it affects them afterwards.
I have too many lol others include- The Breakfast club, Mean Girls, Terminator 2 and The Green Mile.

The Lord of the Ring trilogy because I loved the book for nearly 20 years and the films were exactly as I imagined things to be while I read it.

APOCALYPSE NOW Because it is anti-war, anti-american pro rock and roll and of epic proportions !
It also came out when I was a teenager and also was the first film I had on VCR (betamax) and among the first film I got on DVD and also the first film I put onto hardrive!
to sum up it shows the world gone crazy ! but also
"I do love the smell of Napalm in the morning"

Dodgerball!!

Cause I watched it during a transatlantic night flight! I had the headphones on....and forgot about the rest of the peeps on the flight!! Most were sleeping..relaxing..or trying to anyway!!

I was hysterical watching it...that my hubby eventually had to elbow me in the ribs to shut me up.....unknown to me...the toddler in the seat behind had been woken up........and was balling his eyes eyes out!!

Now I am very careful WHERE I watch comical movies...and indeed weepy films...as I do have my street cred to think about!!!
