We only have one life to live as we know it ... even if you believe in reincarnation, right here, right now is the only existence you know. Which is why, in this lifetime, it is imperative you be the best person you can possibly be, do it right, make it right, as much as possible.

But that's me.

I think a lot of people have it wrong, thinking that since they only have one life to live, they get in this "I'll do anything that feels good" attitude, regardless of consequence to themselves and everything that is around them.

"JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN, DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD."

Ultimately, life is about expanding our minds and our grasp of life while embracing love through connecting with others. That's why there is no room for hatred, bigotry, deceit, greed, selfishness, etc. That is not our purpose of our existence. We're here to be the best humans we can be, and when we act in this capacity, we experience true joy.

Doing nothing with your life, not making the effort to grow as a person, accepting less of yourself -- these should not be options. It's truly a shame so many wait until something tragic happens or until their senior years before they wake up and realize what's truly important.

It depends on what you mean when you say "enjoy life as is." If you mean should we stop trying and sit back and deal with what's in front of us...then no. That's where the street people come from.

You should never stop trying regardless of what it is you are trying for...a cleaner kitchen, a set number of books read in a month, an organized closet, a tidy lawn...there are many more things you can reach for.

Those things will calm the inner you. If you want to reach higher, then give it a go.

The sad thing about trying to work on the differences that cause the imbalance and the inequalities is that everyone wants his/her solution to be accepted and he/she doesn't want to listen to what you have to say. Instead of focusing on the goal, people focus on being in charge...control is the issue, not resolution.

To answer the question as asked literally. . . If i do. . then i cant reach my goals and dreams and be able to use my potentials. Then my life will be useless. We are created so that we can hone our skills and be able to attain and be the best that can be.
We have a responsibility to seek to have a vision to grow. If we lose this then what use is living. . . if we dont look forward and have something to focus on. On the other context. . . as we go on with our lives, we have to acknowledge and enjoy the beautiful things, the blessings and be grateful for them, since we never know when our life will end.

We are born on this earth to ENJOY LIFE. Enjoying life doesn't mean sex, drinks etc. U r to lead a life with which u keep every one around u happy. Every one has to take a vow that they will "NEVER HURT ANYONE EITHER BY WORD (SPEECH) OR ACTION". So if each individual starts practicing this, all the destruction will come to an end. Let's pray for that and enjoy the life as it is.

There is much that is wrong and even evil in the world. But denying yourself enjoyment in life will only add to the wrongness. We should celebrate life and work toward creating more good in the world while we fight the evils.

I do my best to enjoy everyday as if it might be my last. I am middle aged and understand that there are only so many sunrises left on my dance card... After many years of turmoil I am finally at peace with myself and what is my life.

I think we need to work on fixing the disagreements. There are always going to be people who are smarter and richer, but they need to learn to help others who are less fortunate. As humans, we are always going to disagree, but we need to learn to compromise and be respectful of others. I don't want to force my beliefs on anyone, but I don't want someones beliefs forced on me. I don't care what religion someone follows as long as they follow the tenets of it and don't use it as an instrument of hate.

Work for change. Make it a better world. Better work fast, too. I think we're circling the drain.
